In June J2G D/I Committee meeting, though Al Lun has built a prototype, decision was made to connect with J2G board for its guidance on the future of this project.
In the April 25 J2G D&I meeting, it was determined since the diversity/inclusion resources registry concept fits the mssion of Diversity Council, Dee Sabol and Al Lun will discuss how Diversity Council as J2G D&I implementation agent may take the registry work forward.
Al Lun's starting a conversation and a document to specify the requirements of DIBR.
Al Lun met with Duane Sauke, co-chair, Journey to Growth Diversity/Inclusion Committee, on 2015-10-27 to exchange ideas on how to proceed with the Diversity Beam to implement the online diversity assets resource (DBR) concept. How does Diversity Beam work? Duane will touch upon our discussions at the next J2G D&I meeting.
I made this presentation to J2G D&I team several months ago. Like many past presentations I have made to similar audience, it is uncertain how much of the information I wanted to impart hit home.
I have since grown accustomed to this unknowing nature of technical knowledge sharing with members who have different backgrounds, different needs.
